Billin — online invoicing for freelancers

Billin is TeamSystem's cloud invoicing platform built for freelancers and micro-businesses that need to issue invoices, track payments and comply with Verifactu without learning accountancy. As an Official TeamSystem Partner, at Summum Sistemas we implement it, configure it and maintain it so you can focus entirely on your business.

Billin was founded in Bilbao in 2021 and acquired that same year by TeamSystem, the largest Italian software group for SME management. The platform is designed for the independent professional or micro-business that does not want or need a full ERP: from the cloud you can create invoices, quotes and delivery notes, track payments and expenses, and keep quarterly VAT under control with minimal effort. Subscription plans start at around 6.60 EUR/month (indicative market price; check up-to-date rates at billin.io), making it an accessible option without sacrificing the tax features required by the AEAT.

The date on every freelancer's calendar is 1 July 2027: from that point on, Royal Decree-Law 15/2025 requires that invoicing software used by business operators and professionals be adapted to Verifactu. This means each invoice must carry a cryptographic chain that guarantees the immutability of the record and, if the professional wishes, it can be submitted in real time to the AEAT. Billin has already been adapted to these requirements by TeamSystem, so users who are correctly configured are covered. The key lies in the correct initial set-up: invoice series, tax ID, transaction type and connection to the submission service. This is precisely where Summum Sistemas adds value: we ensure that your Billin account configuration complies with the regulation from day one, not at the last minute.

Beyond the initial implementation, many freelancers who started using Billin on their own eventually need help when they change tax regime, add a new line of business, need to connect Billin to their accountant, or simply want to export historical data to another system. Our ongoing support service covers all these situations: practical training to make the most of lesser-known features, incident resolution, tax configuration review, and — when the business grows beyond what Billin can handle — guidance on migrating to Factusol, Contasol or the DELSOL 360 suite without losing the invoicing history.

The Billin process.

The process · four stages
01

Diagnosis and initial set-up

We review the tax situation of the freelancer or micro-business (VAT regime, income tax, invoice series, activities), create or audit the existing Billin account, and define the optimal configuration before the first invoice is issued.

02

Verifactu configuration

We activate the Verifactu module in Billin: cryptographic chaining of records, QR code generation on each invoice and, where applicable, configuration of voluntary submission to the AEAT. We verify that the manufacturer's declaration of conformity covers your version of the product.

03

Practical training

A hands-on working session in which the user learns to create invoices, quotes and delivery notes, manage outstanding payments, record expenses and generate the data needed for quarterly VAT returns with their accountant.

04

Ongoing support and scaling

Assistance with incidents, configuration updates when tax regulations change, and advice on migrating to a more powerful solution — Factusol, Contasol or DELSOL 360 — when business volume justifies it.

What is included

What Billin includes.

The operational detail: what we deliver as part of the work and what we keep alive afterwards.

  • Billin account creation and configuration

Full creation or review of the account: tax details, invoice series, applicable VAT rates, invoice template customisation with the professional's logo and data.

  • Verifactu adaptation

Activation of cryptographic chaining and QR code on each issued invoice, with verification that the version of Billin in use meets the requirements of RD 1007/2023 and Order HAC/1177/2024 before the 1 July 2027 deadline.

  • Accountant integration

Configuration of external access or periodic data export so the accounting firm can work with Billin records without duplicating data entry.

  • Personalised training

Practical session tailored to the professional's profile: recurring invoicing, quote management, tracking of outstanding payments and basic expense control.

  • Incident support

Resolution of access problems, errors in issued invoices, changes in tax regime or business activity, and configuration updates in response to new regulatory obligations.

  • Growth plan and migration

Periodic assessment of how well Billin fits the volume and complexity of the business, with a roadmap for migrating to Factusol, Contasol or DELSOL 360 when the lightweight platform is no longer sufficient.

Frequently asked questions about Billin.

Is Billin already adapted to Verifactu?

Yes. TeamSystem has adapted Billin to the requirements of Royal Decree 1007/2023 and Order HAC/1177/2024. This does not involve any official AEAT certification — which does not exist — but rather the manufacturer's declaration of conformity established by that regulation. The key for the user is that their account is correctly configured: invoice series, tax details and activation of the relevant module. Summum Sistemas verifies this configuration and ensures you meet the 1 July 2027 deadline for freelancers and professionals.

What is the difference between Billin and Factusol?

Both are TeamSystem España products but designed for different profiles. Billin is a lightweight SaaS application, exclusively cloud-based, aimed at the freelancer or micro-business that needs to invoice and little else. Factusol, in addition to invoicing, manages stock control, purchasing and sales, and has a desktop version as well as a cloud version; it is better suited to SMEs with goods movement or higher transaction volumes. At Summum Sistemas we help you choose the right product for your business profile and migrate from one to the other when growth requires it.

Can I connect Billin to my accountant?

Yes. Billin allows you to export invoicing and VAT data in formats that most accounting firms can import directly into their accounting software. Summum Sistemas configures this data flow so the accountant can work with Billin information without the freelancer having to re-enter anything manually, reducing errors and time spent on administrative tasks.

What happens if my business grows and Billin is no longer enough?

This is a natural and common evolution. When a freelancer becomes a company, takes on employees, or when the volume of transactions demands more granular control of stock, purchasing or accounting, Billin may become too limited. At that point, Summum Sistemas designs the migration to Factusol, to the Factusol+Contasol integration, or directly to the DELSOL 360 suite, preserving the invoicing history and ensuring continuity of tax compliance.

How much does the Summum Sistemas implementation and support service cost?

The cost of the Billin product is set by TeamSystem and can be consulted at billin.io (indicative market price from ~6.60 EUR/month). The Summum Sistemas implementation, Verifactu configuration and training service is quoted according to the professional's profile and needs. Contact us for a no-obligation proposal.
